Juliette Babcock Utter- born 22, April 1850,  married William Dwight Jones, son of Daniel Jones and Margaret Delena Davenport, 17 Dec 1868 in Rome, Oneida, NY. They were married by
Rev. J.M. Morris. William enlisted into the Union Army 21 Jul 1863 and
was mustered in 31 Aug 1863. He was a Private with the 6th Company, 3rd
New York Light Artillery (Regiment). William was credited 21 District.
He was appointed Corporal 20 May 1864. He was sick in the General
Hospital at New Bern (where he lost his arm) since Jan 9, 1865. He was
transported on the Northern Light to US General Hospital, New York City
and mustered out of service. He was a porter, had blue eyes, dark hair,
a light complexion, and stood 5 feet 7 inches in height. (Information

William received a pension, with Julia B. (Utter) Jones listed as his
dependant. She filed for a widow class pension 7 Oct 1922. Application #
1195180, certificate # 930.194. William had been receiving an invalid
pension since 30 Oct 1865, application # 94432, certificate # 59170.

Julia died 6 Aug 1931 at Herkimer, NY., and William Dwight died 18 Sep
1922 at Herkimer, NY.
